Service Areas

Navori QL Setup, Training, and Everything After.

Whether you are launching a first deployment, replacing a messy setup, or improving an existing network, every engagement is tailored to your team, infrastructure, and content workflows.

Setup and Implementation

Get the environment configured correctly from the start. I handle server architecture, security, and the initial build so your team can focus on content and operations from day one.

  • Server and cloud environment setup with proper security and access controls
  • Player registration, display grouping, and network architecture
  • Content zone layout design optimized for your screen locations
  • Integration with data feeds, calendars, social media, and third-party sources

Training for Admins, Editors, and IT Teams

Comprehensive training designed around your team's actual roles and workflows, not generic click-through demos. Remote and onsite sessions available for admins, content editors, and IT staff.

  • Admin training covering user management, permissions, and system settings
  • Content editor training for scheduling, playlists, and template management
  • IT-focused sessions on player management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Custom training materials and documentation for ongoing reference

Workflow Design and Content Strategy

The platform is powerful, but only if your content workflow matches your organization's actual needs. I design approval flows, scheduling logic, and content strategies that keep screens fresh and teams efficient.

  • Content approval workflows tailored to your organizational structure
  • Scheduling strategy for dayparting, location targeting, and playlists
  • Template systems that maintain brand consistency across all screens
  • Content calendar planning aligned to your business rhythm

Audit, Optimization, and Ongoing Support

Already running QL? I audit your current setup, identify performance gaps, and help you get more from the platform you have already invested in.

  • Full platform audit covering configuration, workflows, and content performance
  • Network health checks and player performance monitoring setup
  • Scaling guidance for multi-location and enterprise rollouts
  • Retainer-based support for ongoing troubleshooting and optimization
How Engagements Work

A Structured Process, Not a Retainer Trap.

Every engagement follows the same four-phase rhythm so you know exactly what you are getting, when you are getting it, and what it costs before work begins.

1

Discovery Call

Free 30-minute call to understand your deployment, your team, and what you are actually trying to fix. No pitch, no pressure. If I am the wrong fit, I will tell you and point you somewhere better.

2

Scope and Proposal

A written proposal with fixed deliverables, timeline, and cost. No hourly creep, no scope ambiguity. You see the plan, you approve it, then work starts. If scope changes mid-engagement, we agree the new number before anyone does anything.

3

Delivery

Implementation, training, audit, or optimization, depending on scope. You get a single point of contact, weekly updates, and docs your team can use after I am gone. Remote by default, onsite for enterprise rollouts when it makes sense.

4

Handoff and Support

A written handoff covering everything built, every decision made, and the runbook for your team. Optional retainer for ongoing support, troubleshooting, or a second pair of eyes when something breaks at 2am the night before a product launch.

Why Work With Me

Deep Product Knowledge.
Independent Consultant.

I know this platform inside and out, from deployment architecture down to the small UX details that trip up new users. You get an experienced, vendor-neutral digital signage consultant focused entirely on your deployment.

6 Years Inside the Product Team

I spent six years at Navori Labs across multiple roles, including product manager. I know the platform's strengths, its quirks, and the best practices that never make it into the documentation. That means faster setup, fewer mistakes, and training that reflects how the software actually works.

Independent Guidance

I am not a reseller and I do not earn commissions. My recommendations are based entirely on what works best for your deployment. If QL is the right fit, I help you maximize it. If something needs a different approach, I will tell you that too.

Training That Sticks

Training sessions are built around your team's actual roles and workflows - not generic click-through demos. Every session is customized so admins, editors, and IT staff leave confident, not overwhelmed.

The Background

17 Years in Digital Signage.
Hands-On With Navori QL.

Six years inside the product team, including time as product manager, gave me a view of how the platform is built and how customers actually use it day to day.

That insider experience is what you are hiring. I contributed to the product roadmap during a period when QL was expanding its enterprise architecture, so I understand why certain design decisions were made and how to work with them rather than around them. I have delivered deployments across retail, corporate, healthcare, and education, and I know which configurations look stable at 10 screens and start causing problems at 200.

In practice, most of what breaks in a QL deployment is not the software. It is a permission structure built by someone who read the documentation but had never run a live network. A data feed that worked in the demo and has been serving blank slides for months because nobody was watching. Training delivered at launch and never repeated after the original admin left. I have seen all of those, in networks of every size. That combination of inside product knowledge and hands-on deployment experience is what you are actually buying.

Whether you need senior-level help with initial implementation or ongoing training for a growing team, every engagement is scoped to your specific deployment, not a one-size-fits-all playbook. Based in Montreal and serving clients across North America, I am also well-versed in the bilingual content and compliance requirements that come up for operators in Quebec. For context on the local market, see the digital signage Montreal guide.

How to Choose

Independent Navori QL Consultant vs. Your Other Options

There are three ways to get expert help with a Navori QL deployment. Here is how they compare.

Independent Consultant Navori Reseller / Partner In-House IT
Vendor relationship Trusted by Navori — referred clients and outsourced training, no software commissions Commission-based reseller relationship None
Objectivity No license upsell incentive — paid for outcomes, not software sold Partial — incentivized to sell licenses and add-ons Internal bias toward familiar tools
QL platform depth Former Navori product manager — 6 years inside the team Varies by partner and certification level Usually limited without dedicated training
Engagement model Project-based or retainer — you pay for what you need Often bundled with software licensing Ongoing salary cost regardless of project load
Best for Complex rollouts, audits, training, multi-site scaling — with platform depth no generalist consultant has Standard deployments that stay within the Navori ecosystem Simple, low-stakes single-location installs with patient IT staff
FAQ

Common Questions About This Engagement

Yes. Remote sessions are available for teams of any size via video call with screen sharing in your live environment. Onsite training is also available for larger teams or complex multi-location deployments.
Absolutely. Enterprise rollouts have unique requirements around network architecture, permissions, content governance, and IT integration. I help design and implement a configuration that scales from pilot to full rollout without the rework that comes from getting the foundation wrong.
Many clients come to me after their deployment is live but underperforming. I start with a platform audit covering configuration, workflows, player health, and adoption. From there I deliver prioritized improvements and can implement them directly or train your team to handle them.
I spent six years at Navori Labs in multiple roles, including product manager, before going independent. That gives me platform knowledge that goes well beyond a certification. I work independently now, so recommendations are based entirely on what is best for your deployment. With 17 years in digital signage and hands-on delivery across retail, corporate, healthcare, and education, you are getting depth that a certification alone does not provide.
The same three things, in different combinations. Player monitoring is usually the first gap — teams do not know screens are offline until someone physically notices. Content governance is the second — playlists and scheduling rules set up at launch that nobody has reviewed since, still serving outdated content nobody authorized. And permission structures are almost always either too flat or too locked down, with content editors either unable to do their jobs or able to accidentally overwrite things they should not touch. None of these are QL problems. They are operational and setup problems that the right foundation prevents.
